This policy explains how Hype My Web handles account, purchase, social, engagement, and security data. Regional notices and controls may supplement it.
1. Data we collect
We collect information you provide, including account identifiers, profile content, verified social links, support requests, policy acceptance, and optional country. Stripe provides payment references and status; we do not store full card details. Uploaded media is validated, stripped of metadata, and re-encoded.
2. How we use data
We use data to authenticate users, allocate inventory, process payments, display tiles, verify social ownership, moderate content, provide analytics, prevent abuse, comply with law, communicate transactional messages, and improve the service with consent where required.
3. Engagement and fraud prevention
We record tile impressions, opens, outbound clicks, share visits, favorites, reports, and related integrity signals. Raw and trusted metrics are separated. Repeated or suspicious activity may be reduced or staged. IP addresses are minimized where practical, and public analytics never reveal full addresses, fingerprints, or visitor identities.
6. Retention
Retention periods are configurable by data category. Sessions, event-level analytics, and temporary reservations expire on shorter schedules; aggregate ranking and purchase records may persist longer. Legal, accounting, abuse-prevention, copyright, and evidence records may be retained after deletion where necessary.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on location, you may request access, correction, portability, deletion, restriction, or objection, and withdraw optional consent. Dashboard tools support exports, preferences, and account deletion. We may verify identity before fulfilling a request.
8. International transfers and children
Data may be processed in countries with different laws using appropriate safeguards. The service is not directed to children below the configured regional minimum age, and known underage accounts are handled according to law.
9. Security
We use encryption in transit, secure sessions, least-privilege access, audit logs, upload isolation, rate limits, and layered abuse controls. No system is perfectly secure; report concerns promptly.
